Hi! Well, as you can see - I have a new puppy! Isn't he just COMESTIBLE! Leave it to me to teach vocab while writing to my peeps :D. His name is John Jameson and he is just wonderful... right now... I'm sure I'll want him to disappear soon - haha, anyway, he is my graduation present! I guess Moose was looking for 9 months! What an appropriate period of time! He showed up at my office in that handsome man's arms and he's been fun since. You should've seen Kaori! She just met him last night and she is IN LOVE! It is so fun to see her so darn happy. I'm glad she gets to grow up with a dog - and kind of jealous :D. Lance is not as excited - in fact, I think he's miserable. He is jealous and I think he cannot understand why in the heck I would do this to him :D. Poor ol' man. I told Miss Bonnie that the timing is perfect because he will be STOKED to leave when they are ready for him :D. He's a papered German Mastiff aka Great Dane :D and I have full breeding rights :D.
On another note, the stress about Chris getting a job has subsided because they extended unemployment and now we have a few more months to find Chris a job. This is very comforting as that's about all he needs to finish his pilot school! He is so cool! The flood turned out to be almost $10,000 worth of damage. Statefarm has been wonderful, and things will eventually calm down, I am sure.
Kaori has been accepted to Challenge School!!! This is a very big deal for her - it is the top school in the Cherry Creek School District specifically geared to Gifted and Talented students! I never thought this day would come. Wow. She is excited too and she feels lucky to have this opportunity. She is such a good kid - I am so darn lucky.
