The joys of converting.... or attempting to

I feel like a buddhist that has recently converted to being Christian. I understand the principles of religion, that I need to live it, abide by the rules, how to become who I am through action, etc... but my job is to gather followers... convert others to the Christian belief, and all I have to do so is the bible that I've read multiple times, but still have to refer back to because I don't have it memorized yet.. and if a potential convert asks me a question that isn't written in the book, I don't have the experience to relate to the situation... I want, so badly for these people to convert to the life I have been introduced to, and believe in, but how do I do so with such surface understanding????
